Are the capsules vegan and how are they made?

Yes, our iron capsules are fully vegan. The capsule shells are made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), a purely plant-based cellulose, and contain no gelatin. They are also gluten-free, lactose-free, and non-GMO. Manufacturing and filling take place in Austria under strict quality standards (GMP and HACCP). To preserve the stability of the ingredients, the capsules are processed gently. Each batch is laboratory-tested, including for heavy metals, microbiology, and the declared active ingredients.
