Taurine is a sulphur-containing amino acid that is found in daily food as well as in the human body. However, the human organism can produce it relatively poorly, which is why a food supplement makes sense. Taurine is involved in a multitude of biological metabolic processes and is found in the muscles, bile, brain, retina of the eyes as well as in breast milk. Taurine can, for example, act as an antioxidant and positively support blood flow and general cardiovascular functions. In plant foods, taurine is only present in very small amounts, which is why a supply via dietary supplements can be particularly useful in vegan diets. People with very low taurine levels can sometimes be more susceptible to damage from environmental sheep substances - such as aldehydes, chlorine and amines. The effect of taurine has been looked at in more detail in various studies: In patients with heart failure, short-term taurine supplementation led to an improvement in cardiovascular function associated with exercise. 1,2,3It has also been shown that taurine can have a positive effect on blood pressure in people with hypertension or pre-hypertension. 4,5In a study of type 1 diabetics, taurine was able to restore disturbed blood flow to normal within 2 weeks.

Endlich kein Drink

Endlich habe ich mein perfektes Beauty-Supplement gefunden – und es ist keine überteuerte Beauty-Drink-Fläschchenlösung! NutriSkin+ ist ein echter Gamechanger: Statt 2 Euro (oder mehr!) pro kleinem Fläschchen zahle ich einmal und bekomme 60 Kapseln für 60 Tage. Das ist nicht nur deutlich günstiger, sondern auch viel praktischer. Und man spart unglaublich viel Müll! Was ich besonders schätze: Es sind keine unnötigen Süßstoffe enthalten, die nur für den Geschmack gedacht sind. Als jemand mit Fruktoseintoleranz ist das für mich ein riesiger Pluspunkt.
